Creating Your Photography Business Plan

Did you know a business with a plan is twice as likely to succeed as one that doesn’t?

So the next question is, “Do you have a plan?”

You just have to have a little direction.

Let’s go over 6 steps that will help you build your business plan this afternoon, and will easily help you build a more successful photography business.

1. Buy a binder, notebook or journal. You need to have your goals and plans at easy access, sitting on your desk where you can view them every day.

2. Spend some time visioning where you would like to be in the future. Be as specific as possible. “I want to run my own photography business” isn’t specific. “I want to quit my job and have a full time business by August 1, 2010” is specific.
