Photoshop Tutorial – Retouching Blemishes

One of the most time exhausting areas of photography is using Photoshop on every image, and retouching small items like blemishes. There are many tips, tricks, and techniques for improving skin tone and covering up blemishes, and one of my favorites is by using Photoshop’s healing brush and patch tool. You can blend unwanted areas and hide those tiny imperfections with ease. Sample  areas of skin that are in great shape, and use it to blend and alter blemished areas. The healing brush will get the job done with little effort.

Check out this Adobe Photoshop Tutorial on Healing Brush Tool and Patch Tool to see how simple retouching can be.

We're the co-founders of VirtualPhotographyStudio.com and have been writing on this blog since 2004. We started Virtual as a way to help photographers stretch beyond a part time income, and develop strategies to become a Five Figure Photographer or a Six Figure Photographer. Ultimately its all about lifestyle, and if your goal is to live as a photographer 24/7, we think you should have the knowledge and the tools to do so. Welcome!
