Using Social Media Coupons To Bring In More Business

By now I’m sure you’ve heard all about Groupon – we did a post here back in December on using Groupon to bring in a ton of clients within one 24 hour period.

But it doesn’t have to be Groupon – there are many other social sites popping up, giving you an opportunity to showcase what you do and bring in new clients too.

Living Social
Living Social is connected to a variety of sites, including Facebook, and offers deals in a similar manner as Groupon. They have many major cities throughout the U.S., and a few in Europe as well.

Ever Save
Ever Save goes beyond local services, and offers a variety of products too. If the service isn’t local, head online, put in your code, and buy your deal at the discounted price. Their deals also stretch longer than a 24 period, meaning you don’t have to check in daily like Groupon or Living Social.

The Green Half
Promoting your photography studio as a green business? The Green Half may be your place. They promote only green businesses, and donate 10 percent of all profits to a charity.

Buy With Me
A newer entry into the social media coupon arena, Buy With Me isn’t in a ton of cities. But if yours is on the list, it may be worth a shot. They have a huge backing, and a lot of publicity, so you could easily gain a few clients. And if you don’t, you’re not out of pocket any money.

Tippr
Another small entry into the social media coupon arena, Tippr focuses on services in the local area.

Scout Mob
A new service that’s only open in a few U.S. cities – more coming soon. Scout Mob is an email based system that will send you out the daily deals on services within your community.

Mamapedia
Target moms? Then you have to get into Mamapedia. A great place to reach out to the mom community within your neighborhood.

About Virtual Photography

We're the co-founders of VirtualPhotographyStudio.com and have been writing on this blog since 2004. We started Virtual as a way to help photographers stretch beyond a part time income, and develop strategies to become a Five Figure Photographer or a Six Figure Photographer. Ultimately its all about lifestyle, and if your goal is to live as a photographer 24/7, we think you should have the knowledge and the tools to do so. Welcome!
